This infographic explores the relationship between BIPOC and their interest/participation in art and art-related careers. Currently, there exists discourse in art education about how the white hegemonic art history education and various systematic socio-economic barriers discourage BIPOC from participating in the arts and thusly perpetuate the whiteness of many artistic fields. Through research and data visualization, this infographic aims to make those connections.
