This series was based on the concept of vulnerability and proximity. I wanted to explore how my relationship with the subject impacted their openness in front of the camera. Gendered colors were used to highlight the subversion of masculine and feminine qualities. As time passes, this work changes meaning for me as the male in the series is no longer in my life.
